NONPROFITS

EOS applies just as readily to nonprofits and social enterprises as it does to small businesses.

There are important differences between the for-profit and not-for-profit environments, however, and recognizing these differences can be the key to a nonprofit’s success with EOS.

VISION

Few people understand their Core Values as well as those who work in nonprofits.  In most cases, a nonprofit’s Core Focus™—or mission—is equally clear.  EOS builds on an agency’s core values and core focus with tools that create institutional memory and build sustainability.

Process Improvement, Resources, People, Growth, and Sustainability.

PROCESS

The Process Component™ ensures that each relevant process within the agency is documented to the point that it provides 80% of its potential value, while eliminating the need to create a voluminous Standard Operating Procedures Manual.

Technology, Infrastructure, Growth, and Sustainability.

ISSUES

This component helps leadership teams identify, discuss, and solve pressing issues in a fully transparent way, preventing the agency from becoming held back by problems that are either unrevealed or unresolved.

People, Resources, Operational Efficiencies,
Sustainability, and Growth.

TRACTION

Effective execution at the operating level on a day-to-day basis is what the Traction Component™ is all about.  Vision becomes a reality through the adoption of best practices around commitments and streamlined meetings.

Directly impacted by the Traction Component:
Operational Efficiencies, People, Funding, Growth, and inevitably, Sustainability.
“BUT PHILANTHROPIC INNOVATION IS NOT JUST ABOUT CREATING SOMETHING NEW. IT ALSO MEANS APPLYING NEW THINKING TO OLD PROBLEMS, PROCESSES AND SYSTEMS.”
